Innovate Public Schools is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring that all students — especially low-income students and students of color — receive a world-class public education that prepares them for success in college, careers, and beyond. In support of their mission,

in 2020, the bay area-based organization launched an annual Top Schools report highlighting the top-performing public schools across the Bay Area and partnered with the university of southern california in launching the Los Angeles REPORT.

Kimberly led ux strategy, design, development, and production of both reports within a four-month timeline.

each dynamic report includes the following features:

  • Modern, responsive product design incorporating the organization's style guide

  • Searchable and filterable maps using imported regional data and the Google Map API

  • Animated Javascript data charts
